John Cappi and his wife Jan are the founding owners of Cape' Designs, Ltd., Quality Painting by J&J, and business partners with CMB Studios.  John has 24 years of experience as an inventor, faux finish instructor, and painter/decorator.  An active member in the PDCA and an ASID Industry partner, he is one of Chicagoland's most sought-after faux artists.  At Cape' Designs, Ltd., a decorative faux finishing showroom and training center, John constantly works with interior designers, builders, homeowners, and students to create cutting edge finishes, custom works of art and murals.  His philosophy is a simple one: Creativity is as unlimited as the imagination.  Never hesitate to try something new and exciting!
